Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Institute. You will collaborate with electrophysiology teams and provide care across inpatient and outpatient settings in a state-of-the-art program with multiple labs and a dedicated procedure room.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and NY licensure required.
• BSN degree preferred per NYS requirements.
• GN or RN with <1 year experience invited to Graduate Nurse Residency.
• Maintains licensure and certifications per NYS regulations.
• Engages in continuing education to maintain knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration, communication & facilitation of optimal care through a computerized or digital platform.
• Assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring & evaluation of the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Utilize clinical knowledge, critical thinking and case management to coordinate and support the plan of care.
• Monitor quality metrics and ensure complete and accurate documentation in the patient record.
• Ensure care aligns with NY regulatory standards, national standards and nursing/service practice.
• Maintain knowledge of health care economics, trends and reimbursement methodologies.
• Recognize situations requiring immediate intervention.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and apply knowledge to patient care.
