The candidate should have an active RN license, BLS certification, and ideally a BSN. Typical shifts are full-time with 40 hours per week, and pay ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour, depending on experience and unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse license; multi-state license where required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• Must provide care to patients across age groups and settings.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely according to protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork, with appropriate delegation.
• Completes required education and maintains certifications.
