Allegheny Health Network's Electrophysiology Clinic at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator for a full-time, hybrid position. You will serve as a liaison between patients and physicians, coordinate testing, and support care during ambulatory visits.

The ideal candidate holds a Nursing Diploma, PA RN license (or eNLC) and at least two years of cardiovascular ambulatory experience.

Qualifications

Nursing School Diploma required.
Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical specialty.
Preferred BA/BS degree and cardiovascular/ambulatory/outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

Assesses patients and test results, reviews results with physicians and communicates results/recommendations per physician order.
Assesses health status/needs during ambulatory visits or over the phone and formulates an action plan; implements plan after discussion with the physician.
Coordinates and schedules all patient testing including surgeries and coordinates OR scheduling; assesses blood work prior to surgery.
Assesses learning needs of patients and families and provides education based on age, culture and willingness to learn.
Provides clinical support during office hours.
