Job summary

UVA Community Health in Manassas, VA is seeking an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse Ambulatory to join our interdisciplinary team. Under the Clinical Supervisor you will provide clinical and non-clinical care, coordinate with physicians, and support an individualized plan of care for cardiac patients.

This non-exempt role requires nursing licensure, a nursing degree, and cardiac experience; familiarity with implantable devices and ability to operate and program equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; 4‑year/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in applicable state.
• Cardiac experience in acute or physician practice setting preferred.
• Knowledge of implantable devices and ability to operate/program equipment per protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-clinical and clinical duties under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor.
• Lead the healthcare team and coordinate with physicians to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized cardiac care.
• Operate and program implantable devices and use cardiac monitoring equipment as required.
• Support patient education, care coordination, and adherence to policies and procedures.
