Job summary

A prominent healthcare institution in Boston is seeking a Nurse (RN) for the EP Lab, recognized for its clinical advancements in electrophysiology and cardiac care. This role involves assisting in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias, conducting diagnostic tests, and performing device implantations. Preferred candidates will have cardiac experience and an RN license in Massachusetts, alongside BLS and ACLS certifications. The position includes rotating shifts with hourly compensation ranging from $41.72 to $105.65.

Qualifications

• Cardiac experience preferred with at least one year ICU experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
• Familiarity with practical nursing principles and skills to provide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications and monitor patient reactions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members on patient care.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of interventional procedures for acute cardiac emergencies

Excellent verbal and communication skills

Knowledge of medical terminology

Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients

Education

Current RN license in Massachusetts

BSN preferred

Current BLS and ACLS certifications
