Job summary

Chicago Cardiology Institute in Schaumburg and Oak Park, IL is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Electrophysiology team. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibilities and opportunities to build specialized EP expertise in heart rhythm disorders.

You will work with a collaborative cardiology team to evaluate and manage EP patients, develop cardiovascular knowledge, and contribute to high-quality patient care within the CVAUSA network.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified NP or PA
• Active Illinois NP or PA license or ability to obtain
• EP/cardiology experience preferred
• New graduates with strong cardiac background encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular and electrophysiology conditions
• Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Participate in ongoing management of patients with arrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions
• Review diagnostic testing and clinical data to support treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and the cardiovascular care team
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Develop expertise in electrophysiology within a supportive cardiology practice

Chicago Cardiology Institute is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Electrophysiology (EP) team serving the Schaumburg and Oak Park communities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cardiovascular APP or a new graduate with a strong cardiac background and interest in electrophysiology to build specialized expertise in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders.

You'll work alongside an experienced cardiology team in a collaborative environment with the opportunity to develop your EP knowledge while maintaining a predictable Monday-Friday schedule with no call responsibilities.

What You'll Do

Who We're Looking For

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active, unencumbered Illinois NP or PA license, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Previous electrophysiology or cardiology experience as an APP or Registered Nurse is preferred
• New graduates with a strong cardiac, CVICU, telemetry, electrophysiology, or cardiovascular background are encouraged to apply
