Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Cardiology Electrophysiology-Outpatient - PRN. The role focuses on patient care, education, and collaboration with providers in an outpatient cardiology setting.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, medication administration, patient documentation, and operating specialized cardiac equipment. Requires Florida RN licensure with BLS; prior cardiology experience is a plus. PRN schedule with day shifts may apply.

Formación

• Technical diploma/certificate in nursing or an associate degree in nursing.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides professional nursing care to patients, observing, assessing, diagnosing, intervening, and evaluating as directed by providers.
• Performs patient check-in duties, prepares equipment, and assists providers during treatment and examinations.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Observes patient, records conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or provider as needed.
• Obtains vital signs and collects samples for testing.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care and ensures data integration for the care team.
• Operates clinical equipment such as stress and EKG machines, cardiac monitors, defibrillators, SaO2 monitors, and IV pumps.
• Answers patient messages and requests promptly.
• Maintains current knowledge, certifications, and licensure.
• Supports Medical Assistants through training and directing work.
• Maintains safe patient care environment per policies and regulations, including infection control and medication handling.
• Keeps patient care supplies stocked and manages inventory.
