Qualifications

• MSN required upon hire or within 3 years of hire for external hires and internal hires transitioning to APRN role.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• RN licensure in applicable states; NP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take thorough medical histories and perform complete physical exams; order and interpret labs and tests as needed.
• Perform routine and specialized procedures as credentialed.
• Prescribe and monitor medications as allowed by state licensure and policy.
• Educate patients about diseases, treatments, and medication side effects; participate in rounds and collaborate with the care team.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
