CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas - Kanis location is seeking an Electrophysiologist to join a busy, established practice delivering high-quality cardiac care. The Kanis hub offers complex EP and structural heart care, enabling collaboration with renowned cardiovascular specialists.

You will work with an EP RN Coordinator and EP NP to optimize pre/post-procedure education and same-day discharges, while contributing to a nationally recognized network for excellence in heart care.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified.
  • Active Medical License in the State of Arkansas, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Active BLS.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex arrhythmias and EP disorders in a high-acuity setting with modern lab equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional EP procedures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiovascular specialists.
  • Coordinate care with EP RN Program Coordinator and NP focused on same-day discharges.

Skills
To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Electrophysiologist with a passion for clinical excellence, strong technical skills, and a commitment to providing superior patient outcomes within a supportive and innovative environment. In your role, you will:

  • Manage complex arrhythmias and electrophysiological disorders in a high-acuity setting while utilizing new PFA system technology and updated lab equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional EP procedures and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of distinguished cardiovascular specialists.
  • Work alongside an EP RN Program Coordinator who serves as a dedicated point of contact for patient triage and pre/post-procedure education.
  • Leverage the support of an EP lab-based Nurse Practitioner focused on facilitating same-day discharges.
  • Coordinate care with a dedicated team of hospital-based Nurse Practitioners who manage initial consults and rounding.
  • Contribute to the clinic’s "High Performing" status and participate in the continued technological advancement of our EP program.
