Job summary

CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas – Kanis location seeks an Invasive (Non-Interventional) Cardiologist to deliver high-quality cardiac care within a nationally recognized cardiovascular network.

Board certified/eligible, Arkansas license, and active BLS are required; you will collaborate with interventional and surgical teams, participate in heart team meetings, and contribute to clinical protocols as the new center opens in 2027, with cardio-oncology opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Active Medical License in the State of Arkansas, or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Active BLS

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive cardiovascular consultations and longitudinal care for patients with a wide range of heart conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic cardiac procedures, including transesophageal echocardiograms, cardioversions, and other non-interventional invasive assessments.
  • Collaborate with interventional and surgical teams to ensure seamless continuity of care and optimal patient management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary heart team meetings to discuss complex cases and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to uphold our 'High Performing' status and commitment to clinical excellence.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and long-term cardiovascular health.
  • Participate in a 1:8 call coverage rotation.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Invasive (Non-Interventional) Cardiologist at CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas - Kanis location, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality cardiac care to our community. You will be a key member of a cardiovascular network consistently recognized for excellence by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.

Our clinic has been named a 'High Performing' site by U.S. News & World Report for both heart failure and heart attack treatment. As we grow, you will have a unique opportunity to join our team now and play an instrumental role in shaping the clinical protocols and strategic direction of our state-of-the-art, advanced center for cardiac care scheduled to open in 2027. Additionally, there will be special opportunities available for candidates interested in cardio-oncology.


To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist with a passion for cardiovascular medicine, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality comprehensive care. In your role, you will:
