St. Peter's Health Partners in Albany, NY is seeking a full-time Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join Albany Associates in Cardiology (AAC). The role provides a balance of inpatient and outpatient work within a growing EP program.

Work with a team of EP Cardiologists on ablation, AFib management, and Watchman procedures, with a 50/50 office/hospital schedule and a monthly cardiology call. The practice covers Troy, Clifton Park, and Albany with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of EP experience, including ablation and AFib procedures.
• Training in Watchman is beneficial.
• Lead or device extraction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care as part of a growing EP program.

Job description

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist Cardiologist to join our established team at Albany Associates in Cardiology (AAC), located in Albany, New York. We are looking for a motivated and skilled physician to contribute to our growing practice with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The position provides a great balance of hospital and clinic work, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive compensation.

Additional highlights

Work Schedule: 50% office, 50% hospital; generally no split days (hospital or clinic, not both on the same day)
Procedure Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of experience in electrophysiology, including ablation and AFib management. Additional experience with Watchman procedures is a plus
Practice Setting: Work with a dynamic team of three EP Cardiologists, including Drs. Prieto, Phang, and Sosa Suarez
Call Schedule: General cardiology call with the AAC practice, once a month for evenings and weekends; no specific EP call
Office Coverage in the Troy, Clifton Park, and Albany with opportunities to grow the practice in other regions
Flexible Scheduling: Option to have hospital and clinic days split or dedicate full days to either setting

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

We offer a competitive base salary with earning potential through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses.

Starting Salary: 650-700k
The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
Starting Bonus: 50k
Relocation Assistance: 25k
Time Off is a tiered model starting at 30 days and increases with tenure up to 40 days annually.
CME: $4,500 annually for continuing medical education.
Loan Repayment: Our institution qualifies as an eligible employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
