Job summary

TDK-Lambda Americas Inc. is seeking an electronics technician to assemble and modify thru-hole/SMT circuits, and conduct electrical tests with the Engineering group. The role includes data collection, report review, and contributing to test method improvements.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or related experience, strong soldering skills for PCBAs, and familiarity with test techniques. On-site position with potential for bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of Electronic test techniques and equipment.
• Soldering skills with both thru hole and SMT, on and off PCBAs, and Pb and Pb-free solders.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and/or modifies thru hole and SMT electronics circuits, on and not on PCBAs.
• Creates electrical test procedures and evaluates test data with engineers.
• Performs Qualification and Design Verification Testing for new and existing products.
• Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes.
• Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions.
• Confers with engineering to resolve testing problems and optimize performance.
