Job summary

Indra Group USA is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to align, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices using a range of tools and equipment, ensuring adherence to production criteria. The role involves repairing units to component level, determining root causes, performing rework, and retesting to acceptance standards while maintaining thorough documentation and collaborating with Engineering and Production teams.

Proficiency with RF, digital, and analog testing is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of RF circuit theory.
• Experience working with Electronic Test Equipment (Hardware and Software).

Responsibilities

• Repair units to the component level that fail production acceptance testing.
• Determine root cause of failure.
• Perform rework to eliminate root cause(s).
• Retest the reworked unit, passing production acceptance testing to the same level criteria as a non-reworked unit.
• Appropriately balance amount of time invested troubleshooting with the board value/BOM cost (collaborate with supervisor & engineering on when to scrap, etc.).
• Maintain required documentation on all activities.
