Job summary

Jabil in Florence, Kentucky is seeking a Test Technician to set up equipment, run programmed verification tests, and maintain a continuous flow on the manufacturing line while meeting safety requirements.

You will operate DVMMs, oscilloscopes, and frequency counters, load and unload test fixtures, label boards, and assist other testers, while documenting results and alerting supervisors to recurring issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a tester position or an equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required job-related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Set-up equipment to perform programmed and verification tests following procedures.
• Operate automated and manual test equipment on circuit board assemblies.
• Load and unload test fixtures properly.
• Maintain daily logs and process control sheets.
• Label, stamp or mark boards and use a barcode scanner.
• Assist Tester I/II personnel and communicate test status to supervision.
• Identify recurring test failures and alert supervisor for corrective action.
• Adhere to safety rules and health requirements; follow security policy.
