Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. in Chelmsford, MA, is seeking a Test Technician for the 3rd shift to join our production team.

This contract role involves hands-on testing and assembly of cutting-edge electronics, with room for long-term opportunities. You will perform electrical and RF testing, follow work instructions, document results, and collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to improve throughput.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for timekeeping and work instructions.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced electronics environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
• Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
• Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
• Document accurate data records and results test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures.
• Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
