Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. is seeking an experienced electronics test technician to support QA, inspection, and diagnostics for ruggedized devices. You will read schematics, program devices, and use lab instruments on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.

The role requires 5+ years in electronics lab/test environments with proficiency in Windows/Linux and strong documentation skills. It is a contract-to-permanent position with W2 employment and a pay rate around $33–$42 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or related field is required.
• 5+ years of electronics lab/test/quality experience with component level skills.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and diagnose at device level.
• Proficient with Windows and Linux; able to use lab tools and software.
• Experience with functional testing, inspection, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PDFs, Excel, and technical documentation; Crystal Reports is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Support QA, inspection, diagnostics, and testing of ruggedized electronics.
• Operate lab equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, programmable power supplies.
• Document results and contribute to troubleshooting and device programming.

This role will support quality assurance, inspection, diagnostics, and testing of ruggedized electronic devices. The position requires experience with electronic components, schematics, oscilloscopes, multimeters, lab power supplies, documentation, and testing systems.

This position is a contract-to-permanent role that is a long-term need for the client. This role must be worked on-site.

Must be W2 under contract. Cannot be Corp-to-Corp or 1099.

Pay: $33 - $42 / hr
