Job description

A large manufacturing organization in the Buford area is seeking a UL Lab Engineer to support product certification testing and regulatory approvals for electrical and electromechanical products. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Electrical or Mechanical Engineer interested in developing expertise in UL, CSA, and IEC standards while working in a hands-on laboratory environment. MUST have experience working in conjunction with UL or other quality certification bodies.

This role offers exposure to certification testing, project management, laboratory operations, and direct interaction with engineers, technicians, and certification agencies.

What You'll Do
  • Manage certification projects supporting UL and CSA approvals.
  • Coordinate testing activities with laboratory technicians and supervisors.
  • Conduct product evaluations and certification testing in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Assist senior engineering staff with complex certification and compliance projects.
  • Interpret and apply UL, CSA, and IEC requirements to new and existing products.
