Job summary

Compunetix is seeking an individual to effectively test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment. The role requires reading schematics and engineering docs to isolate faults, and the ability to complete thorough test reports and repair documentation.

The candidate should have an associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits to the component level.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with customer and engineering requirements.
• Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies to the component level.
• Interpret schematics, test procedures, and engineering documentation to isolate and resolve faults.
• Complete detailed test reports, repair documentation, and other required records.
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing personnel to resolve production issues and improve test processes.
• Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity while meeting production schedules.
