Job summary

Wenzel Associates Inc. seeks an Electronics Test Development Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test stations bridging R&D and manufacturing.

You will develop test infrastructure to validate new RF/electronic hardware and ensure quality during high-volume production. Responsibilities include designing ATE, writing LabVIEW software, hardware interface creation, and performing root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams to optimize test coverage and yield.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • 5+ years of LabVIEW development for test automation.
  • Experience with Actor Framework or Python 3.1+.
  • Hands-on experience with rack-based test instruments (RF switches, scopes, DMMs, analyzers).
  • Strong fault-finding and root-cause analysis skills on mixed-signal circuits.
  • Knowledge of DFT, ATE platforms, and regulatory testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test equipment, fixtures, and complex electronic systems.
  • Develop test software in LabVIEW and related runtimes.
  • Create hardware interfaces and rack-based test stations.
  • Define test plans and perform root-cause failure analysis.
  • Analyze test data to optimize test coverage and reduce test time in manufacturing.
  • Write SOPs, test coverage reports, and DFT guidelines.
