Det-Tronics, part of Spectrum Safety Solutions, seeks a Quality Service Center Technician to perform testing, calibration, and repair of electronic assemblies in a fast-paced production environment in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate has 3+ years’ experience, an electronics-focused education, and proficiency with Excel for statistical analysis.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in Electronics Technologies or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with testing, calibration and/or repair of electronic assemblies or devices.
• Proficiency with schematics, assembly prints, and test procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing, calibration, and repair of assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Verify testing/calibration against latest engineering specs using revision test procedures and prints.
• Troubleshoot defective assemblies to component level and perform rework to quality standards.
• Accurately document and track repaired assemblies to support process improvements.
• Collect and analyze data to identify improvements and root causes; verify corrective actions.
• Use ACE tools to identify root causes of failures and measure action effectiveness.
• Assist with design, assembly, and repair of test fixtures; support production runs.
