Job summary

CPI Electron Device Business is seeking a technician to perform technical assignments including constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, maintaining and calibrating electronic and mechanical equipment at our Beverly, MA location. This role operates under general supervision and adheres to established procedures.

Candidates must have a degree or technical training with 3–5 years experience, knowledge of electronics, ability to use multimeter and oscilloscope, and soldering proficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in appropriate technology or equivalent technical training, or combination of training and related experience of 3-5 years.
• Knowledge of basic electronic fundamentals and ability to use common tools and instruments including multimeter and oscilloscope.
• Proficient in soldering.
• This role requires access to export-controlled information, subject to the ITAR and EAR, for which the company will not pursue an export license/license exception. Must be a US person (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals) to be eligible for this role.

YOUR DAY TO DAY:

To perform a variety of technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, maintaining and calibrating electronic and mechanical equipment following established procedures and working under general supervision.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, maintaining and calibrating electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
