Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance I for the Digital Range Training System (DRTS) under the W-TRS contract. The role focuses on maintaining non-IT DRTS equipment and ensuring communications during live-fire training events.

The position requires 2+ years of related experience, knowledge of ranges systems, and the ability to learn MIS for work orders and property control. Onsite work at a customer location in NM is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: AA/AS or relevant years of experience.
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience; managing US Army DRTS equipment/ranges; military experience preferred.
• Technical skills: ranges systems, equipment maintenance; knowledge of networks, OS, and security.
• US Citizenship not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate workstations and range instrumentation.
• Conduct PMCS of non-IT DRTS equipment.
• Assist higher-level technicians with repairs.
• Install and Deinstall PU on military vehicles and DRTS equipment.
• Monitor communications between PUs and DRTS systems.
• Open work orders in MIS and track parts.
