Job summary

Yaskawa America Inc. is hiring an Electrical Technician to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair a broad product line including PC boards, AC servo motors, inverters, and AC servo drives at the component level.

The role requires a strong electronics background and offers opportunities for growth in a global environment. Qualifications include an associate degree or related experience, soldering skills (through hole/SMT), the ability to read schematics, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent related work experience is required.
• Experience in electronic/electro-mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and use schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, troubleshoot and repair Variable Frequency Drives, AC Servo Motors and AC Servo Drives.
• Utilize schematics, assembly drawings and test equipment to perform analysis and repairs.
• Develop detailed repair reports for customer review.
• Perform through hole and surface mount soldering.
• Identify and provide ideas to improve internal processes and maintain test fixtures and equipment.
• Provide daily updates to Group Leader on schedule conflicts and rush orders.
