Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to assemble, test, and repair electronic hardware for prototype and production medical devices. The role focuses on PCBAs, cable assemblies, and test fixtures, with emphasis on quality workmanship and documentation.

You will solder SMT and through-hole components, troubleshoot to component level, maintain lab records, and support engineering as designs move into manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years hands-on electronics experience.
• Experience with PCBAs and electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototype and production hardware including PCBAs and cable assemblies.
• Perform soldering, desoldering and rework of SMT and through-hole parts.
• Inspect workmanship and ensure drawings and specs are met.
• Document builds, repairs, and test results for engineering records.
• Support engineering with test setups and design updates.
