Job summary

Leidos in Long Beach, MS is seeking an Electronic Technician to support assembly, testing, and production for surface and subsea electronic devices. You will work in a LEAN manufacturing environment, performing electrical and mechanical assembly, PCB work, and lab support.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 2–4 years of related experience, soldering to J-STD-001, ability to read schematics, and travel up to 2–5 times per year. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years related experience.
• Experience reading schematics and drawings.
• Detail oriented; capable of soldering to J-STD-001.
• Familiar with and capable of operating standard electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, frequency generators).
• Must be self-motivated and able to switch tasks.
• Willing to travel 2–5 times per year.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Electrical assembly including wire harness fabrication, soldering, and circuit board component installation.
• Mechanical assembly and testing of various systems; follow engineering drawings and procedures.
• Lab support: create work orders, test procedures, safety procedures, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Maintain equipment and fixtures; support repair tasks and documentation.
