Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is hiring an Electronics Technician Maintenance I to perform systems maintenance and operation of range systems at the Mountain Home Range Complex in Bruneau, Idaho.

The role supports DoD range operations, maintenance, and testing across multiple communications and weapons scoring systems. The candidate must have an electronics background, Windows PC skills, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electronics or technical school certificate, or equivalent military training.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience with electronic combat range systems.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Able to operate and document maintenance actions on a Windows-based PC.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all Weapons Scoring systems.
• Replace components and wire circuits.
• Repair simple electronic equipment.
• Test readings with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters/loads, and video monitors.
• Operate computers: update/install programs, edit databases, manage peripherals, print documents.
• Operate UHF/VHF/LMR and two-way communications equipment.
• Support field operations including wild land fire suppression within range boundaries.
• Use hand and power tools for general maintenance.

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Work Location: Bruneau, ID Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense (DoD) contractor specializing in Range operations and maintenance (O&M); weapons testing; facilities management; aerial, ground and seaborne targets O&M; technical, logistics and other engineering support; systems integration; electronics and communications maintenance services; and a growing cybersecurity business. SA-TECH supports munitions delivery training for Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps air and ground crews through USAF Air Combat Command’s Primary Training Ranges (PTRs). We deliver OM&S services to PTR bombing and gunnery (B&G) ranges and electronic warfare (EW) ranges, supporting remote threat emitters, mission data processing, range communications, weapons impact and electronic combat scoring. We are currently hiring an Electronics Technician Maintenance I to perform systems maintenance and operations of range systems at our facility in the Mountain Home Range Complex in Bruneau, ID.

* Operating and maintaining all Weapons Scoring systems.

• Replacing components and wiring circuits.
• Repairing simple electronic equipment.
• Conducting test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power meters/loads and video monitors
• Operating computers to include; updating/installing programs, editing databases, working with peripheral devices, and printing documents.
• Operating UHF/VHF/LMR, telephonic communications and two-way communications equipment.
• Performing wild land fire suppression within the boundaries of the B&G range.
• Operating wild land firefighting equipment and vehicles.
• Assisting with general maintenance to include the use of common hand and power tools such as hammers, saws, drills and wrenches.

Work Conditions: * Conditions will vary as work is to be performed outdoors as well as indoors.

• You must be able to climb ladders, work in elevated areas and confined spaces and have the capability to work on high-voltage and radio-frequency circuits.
• You must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Job demands will require physical dexterity and flexibility and you must be physically able to sit, stand, kneel and climb.
• Overtime will be required at times to support operations.

Requirements Education/Experience/Skills: * Associate's degree in electronics field or certificate of completion from an accredited Technical school, or equivalent military technical training

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working assigned electronic combat range systems
• Must be able to read and write English
• Ability to understand the basic operation of a Windows based PC, and be able to document maintenance actions.
• All candidates will be required to pass a consumer report and/or consumer investigation to include SSN, Driver Record and Criminal Background Investigation.
• Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to hire date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
• All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
