Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment across various training devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance per guidelines and specs for proper functionality and safety.
• Apply technical knowledge to solve electrical, mechanical, and computer issues using manuals.
• Inventory spare/repair parts per contractual guidelines.
• Record maintenance history and annotate work orders into MIS.
• May supervise lower-level technicians and ensure timely reports.

Phoenix Defense is currently seeking applicants forElectronic Technician Maintenance Ipositions supporting the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program (W-TRS) in Louisville, KY.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Electronics Technician Maintenance II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, including a variety of Training Devices
• Performs preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions
• Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting. manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
• Performs inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines
• Capture and records accurate maintenance history ensuring unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into MIS.
• Applies basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems
• May supervise, provide direction/guidance, and check lower-level technicians’ work
• Ensuring that all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Reads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance
• This position may require travel to other installations and other W-TRS locations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years’ experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting.
