SCA Role:
Job Description:
  1. Leads electronic maintenance activities including resourcing and training other electronic technicians.
  2. Performs scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS, STE Devices, and GFP, following technical manuals, checklists, or industry best practices.
  3. Informs the government of maintenance timelines and personnel travel needs for both staffed and unstaffed sites.
  4. Ensures maintenance tasks do not conflict with training, exercises, and testing schedules.
  5. Records all maintenance activities in real-time in InSite.
  6. Adheres to warranty terms, tracking items by part number, serial number, and location.
  7. Sets up and tests TADSS and STE Devices to confirm proper operation and interoperability.
  8. Monitors hardware baselines, reverting to previous versions if updates fail.
  9. Analyzes maintenance trends, manages obsolescence, conducts failure analysis, and implements risk management strategies to improve system reliability.
  10. Responsible for configuration management of all maintenance on TADSS, STE Devices, and GFP devices.
  11. Installs modifications or upgrade kits according to manufacturer instructions.
  12. Performs maintenance instructions and may serve as a preventive rover for unstaffed sites.
  13. May be responsible for software and hardware installations, patches, and security compliance.
TDL Specifics:
  1. Support three primary missions: Steady-state Training Support, Point of Need operations, and Surge Support.
  2. During steady-state training, support exercise planning, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and provide direct training and roleplay support.
  3. Provide After-Action Reviews and lessons learned.
  4. At Point of Need, support equipment shipment, setup, troubleshooting, and post-exercise review.
  5. Support Surge operations by shifting personnel to support training at the site.
Travel:

Travel up to 30%, including OCONUS.

Experience & Education:

10+ years with BA/BS or 5+ years with MA/MS, or 14+ years with AA/no degree.

Certification:

Basic Electronic Technical Certificate.

Desired Experience:
  • Leading electronic maintenance activities, training, and performing maintenance on TADSS and GFP.
  • Managing maintenance timelines, recording activities, and adhering to warranty terms.
  • Setting up, testing, and verifying TADSS operations, including interoperability.
  • Monitoring hardware, analyzing trends, managing obsolescence, and conducting failure analysis.
  • Configuration management and installation of modifications/upgrades.
  • Serving as a preventive rover, managing software/hardware installations, patches, and security.
  • Knowledge of STE Devices is preferred.
