Job summary

SABG seeks an Electronics Technician II in Huntsville, AL to support the FBI FPSS within the Space Management Unit – HQ. The role requires electronics expertise, ability to service complex communications and security systems, and eventual guidance to junior technicians.

Top Secret clearance is required. This position works in a site-based environment with outdoor installation responsibilities and collaboration with HQ teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Accredited engineering technology two (2) or four (4) year degree or military veteran with technical training and four (4) years of technical service experience.
• Education and Experience: Basic electronics fundamentals course or equivalent plus tradecraft/vendor certification in radio/secure network/physical security systems or progression in electronic theory.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks with detailed instructions.
• Install and maintain complex communications, network, and security systems; use test equipment (DMMs, scopes, generators).
• Repair equipment, test and diagnose using schematics and manuals; ensure technical integrity of systems.
