Job summary

Electro Rent in Los Angeles is seeking an Electronic Technician II to join our Operations team. This hands-on role troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates, and maintains electronic test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability for customers.

Requirements include an associate degree or equivalent, about four years of electronics troubleshooting and repair, experience with instrumentation and automated test programs, and PMEL certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent electronics training.
• Around four years of experience in electronic troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with electronic instrumentation and automated test programs.
• Knowledge of industry standards and quality practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• PMEL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, calibration, and verification on assigned electronic products.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment at the component and modular level.
• Execute automated test and diagnostic programs to evaluate equipment performance.
• Complete product upgrades and modifications as directed.
• Maintain product library and accessory updates as required.
• Document tests, repairs, and services accurately in Company systems, including PERFECT / Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Apply established industry standards, quality practices, and technical procedures to assigned work.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
• Operate Company vehicles, when required, in accordance with Company safety policies and applicable federal, state, local, and DOT requirements.
