ONWARD SEARCH is seeking an Electronics Technician II for a temporary on-site role in the United States to support development activities involving design, testing, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.

The position requires an Associate Degree or equivalent training, with hands-on soldering and debugging experience; strong teamwork and communication skills are essential as you work closely with engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Electronics, a short electronics certificate, or military electronics training.
• Training such as ESD, safety, and soldering within one year of employment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices, with experience in soldering preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and maintain quality standards.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks to support engineering activities, including design, testing, modification, and assembly of electronic systems.
• Use schematics, layouts, and verbal instructions to conduct testing and troubleshoot development equipment.
• Conduct operational tests and fault isolation, ensuring systems meet design specifications.
• Diagnose malfunctions at the component level and perform repairs.
• Collect data through defined engineering tests using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
