Job summary

TDXi, a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), is seeking an Electronics Technician, Maintenance - Communications for on-base work at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. This full-time position reports to the Site Manager and offers the opportunity to support defense programs with a skilled technical team.

The role focuses on applying basic electronics knowledge, replacing components, testing with meters and scopes, and maintaining communications systems.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and completion of accredited Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics or equivalent military training, or minimum three (3) years’ experience at journeyman level.
• Associate Degree in Electronics and experience at the Craftsman level highly desirable.
• IAT II (A+ software/hardware and Security +) Certification required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and use test instruments such as oscilloscopes and generators.

Responsibilities

• This job requires lifting and carrying weighted objects in varied environments including shop, warehouse, and flight-line.
• Operate and maintain DENRO components and gator radio systems.
• Monitor/configure systems and develop TED maps.
• Maintain data lines (T1 & T3), microwave links, and fiber lines.
• Ensure reports and documentation are available and properly maintained.
• Maintain current tower climb certification.
• Follow quality and safety programs and company policies.
