Job summary

Lufthansa Technik Component Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Electronics Technician (Avionics) to apply your expertise on avionics units, displays, and guidance computers. You will work on weather radar and aircraft systems while advancing your career in aviation.

Prerequisites include a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong ability to troubleshoot electronics. Some electronics experience is desirable, and relocation is not provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify avionic units per OEM specs.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other maintenance personnel.
• Interpret test data to diagnose malfunctions and performance problems.
• Troubleshoot avionics to component and sub-assembly levels using schematics.
• Set up test equipment and tests using procedures and schematics.
• Operate test instruments: DVMs, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meters, power supplies, and ATE.
• Take on additional tasks as required.

Tasks

• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify avionic units using state-of-the-art repair techniques and test equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturers specifications
• Coordinate work with that of engineers, technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel
• Interpret test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems
• Troubleshoot avionics units to component level and sub-assembly level utilizing schematics and standard troubleshooting practices and procedures
• Set up test equipment and tests electronic products using established test procedures and schematics
• Make use of test and measurement equipment, Digital/Analog Voltmeters, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meters, power supplies, and Automatic and Standard Test equipment, etc.
• Takeover of additional tasks when required
