Job summary

Actalent is hiring an Engineering Technician - Electronics for an onsite contract role in San Antonio, TX. You will perform daily electronic assembly and testing, place components mechanically, and support field installations.

The ideal candidate will read schematics, solder, test, troubleshoot, and work with oscilloscopes and multimeters. A High School Diploma and 5+ years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in electronics and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience with assembly, fabrication, and electronic assembly.
• Skilled in using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Military electronics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic assembly and test activities daily.
• Mechanically place components and complete wire/cable assemblies.
• Provide support for field site installation and testing.
• Read and interpret detailed schematics, engineering drawings, and procedures.
• Solder, test, and troubleshoot electronics assemblies.
