Job summary

QRC Technologies a Parsons Company in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an Electronics Technician to assemble, program and calibrate electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and finished products in a light production lab environment. The role reports to the Production Supervisor.

You will interpret diagrams, perform light soldering to IPC standards, and use hand tools to complete small batch runs while ensuring quality and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics and electronics repair with the aptitude to assemble small batch production material.
• Ability to interpret work instructions and complex electrical and mechanical drawings.
• 2–5 years as Electronics Technician, or 5+ years as Mechanical Assembler or equivalent Military Experience.
• Solid written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Preference for basic soldering skills and/or IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 certifications.
• Candidate must be able to obtain a clearance when sponsored by QRC.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect small production batches of sub-assemblies and finished products.
• Program and/or calibrate Electro-Mechanical assembly.
• Interpret cable diagrams, wiring drawings and schematics for troubleshooting to circuit level.
• Light soldering of wire connections, passive components and connectors per J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
• Use hand tools to cut, strip and crimp fine gauge wires and torque drivers.
