Job summary

crenlocareers seeks an Electronic Technician B to repair and maintain electronic control equipment in a fast-paced steel manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot down to component level using oscilloscopes, voltmeters and chart recorders while interpreting complex schematics and collaborating with engineers and mechanics on installations or relocations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of technical training and 5+ years of related experience, plus a valid

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of technical training and 5+ years of related work experience.
• Electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills with ability to read schematics and use testing instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair equipment; perform advanced troubleshooting.
• Diagnose with test instruments to locate issues and perform repairs.
• Work from complex schematics and coordinates with engineers and mechanics on installations or relocations.
• May replace or modify PLCs.
• Supervise and instruct/assist Electronic Technician B or helpers as needed.
• Report labor and job data accurately; maintain safety and clean work area.
