Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. In this role, you will design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security systems including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electronic security systems, perform preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory management.
- Lead teams on large, complex installation projects with limited supervision.
- Document daily toolbox talks, ORM, and safety audits.
- Program and install head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
- Troubleshoot and isolate system and hardware issues locally and globally.
- Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
- Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory; create and track RFIs; assist with design feedback; document reports and project progress.
- Communicate project and team issues to management; create and manage project schedules; forecast and manage labor hours; mentor technicians.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is REQUIRED.
- U.S. Citizenship; eligible for security clearance.
- Valid driver's license; acceptable driving record.
- HS diploma or GED, or completion of an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program; plus 3 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.
- Minimum 8 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience, with at least 3 years focused on electronic security systems.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills; proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Bosch, etc.).
