We are looking for an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of SES, you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
  • Performing preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory management.
  • Leading teams on large, complex installation projects with minimal supervision.
  • Conducting and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORM, and safety audits.
  • Installing and maintaining equipment locally and globally according to design packages.
  • Programming and installing head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshooting systems and hardware at local and global levels.
  • Leading on-site software commissioning and testing.
  • Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory, including creating project take-off drawings, documenting RFIs, and providing design feedback.
  • Tracking project progress and reports, communicating issues to management.
  • Managing project schedules, integrating IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems, and forecasting labor hours.
  • Mentoring technicians and effectively communicating with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications include:

  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED, military electronics training, graduation from an accredited electronics program, or an electrical apprenticeship.
  • At least 8 years of electronics installation and maintenance experience, with 3 years focused on electronic security systems.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; travel up to 50% required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems such as CCURE, Lenel, Bosch, and others, along with experience in installation and certifications in Windows OS.
