We are seeking an Electronics Tech 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of SES, you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

  • Leading small to moderately complex installation projects.
  • Conducting and documenting daily toolbox talks.
  • Installing head-end equipment at local and global levels per design specifications.
  • Programming head-end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshooting and isolating systems and hardware locally and globally.
  • Providing on-site software commissioning and testing.
  • Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
Qualifications

Security Clearance: Applicants must undergo a government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship. An ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance is REQUIRED.

Position/ Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must pass a customer background check.
  • 100% travel within the West Region from New Mexico to California.

Education:

  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 hours), or
  • Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program, or
  • At least three (3) years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.

Experience:

  • 8+ years in electronics installation/maintenance with multiple systems and clients.
  • At least 3 years focused on electronic security systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems are a plus.
