Job summary

RTX is seeking a Facilities & Services-Electronics Technician in North Berwick, ME for a 3rd shift (11:30pm-7:00am). You’ll plan and perform complex electrical/electronic maintenance, read schematics, diagnose CNC machines, and ensure industrial safety while coordinating with trades and vendors. Eligible North Berwick employees get priority.

The role requires 1+ years in industrial electrical/electronics or a related technical certificate. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• 1+ years in industrial electrical/electronics or related cert/degree.
• US citizenship required for program access.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform complex electrical/electronic maintenance on equipment and facility.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Diagnose and repair NC/CNC machines and controls.
• Maintain safety standards and handle hazardous materials properly.
• Communicate with trades people and vendors clearly.
• Manage multiple priorities and overtime when needed.
• Be able to obtain Industrial Vehicle license.
• Work from heights up to 20 feet.

What You Will Do

This is an amazing opportunity as a Facilities & Services-Electronics Technician.

This is a 3rd shift . 11:30pm-7:00 am

Plan and perform complex work involving electrical and electronic maintenance, operation and improvement of equipment and the facility.

Read and draw schematics for electrical/electronic trades and mechanical schematics, when necessary.

Perform industrial electrical / electronic maintenance, diagnosis, and repair on N/C and CNC machines, and electronic controls.

Apply the fundamentals of industrial mechanics, including the principles of hydraulic and pneumatic and troubleshoot system/component problems, where applicable.

Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with trades people and vendors.

Apply the principals of industrial safety and handling of hazardous materials as it relates to electrical/electronic trades

Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Must be flexible around shifts for coverage and training, including overtime.

Must be able to obtain an Industrial Vehicle license to perform related job duties Must be able to work from heights of 20 feet or less Existing eligible and qualified North Berwick site employees will be given primary consideration for this position.

The salary range for this role is $22.06-$41.47. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Qualifications You Must Have

High School or GED

1+ years of related experience in industrial electrical/electronics or a completed technical certificate / post-secondary degree in a related field

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

Professional industrial electrical / electronic experience specializing in machine maintenance, diagnostic skills, N/C and CNC machines, and electronic controls

Professional electrical construction experience (110v electrical outlets, conduit installation, etc…)

Experience interpreting complex electrical/electronic drawings and diagrams

Experience using various machine and hand tools and checking instruments

Knowledge of advanced shop mathematics, including applied algebra and geometry

Competent in Microsoft Office and SAP Knowledge of ACE tools

Completed technical school certificate or degree
