We are seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. You will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

1. Perform technical tasks within field operations, including on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
2. Ensure the functionality and reliability of various technologies through site surveys, hardware/software configuration, testing, and technical support.
3. Adhere to safety plans and policies, participate in quality reviews, track project metrics, and ensure proper documentation and resource management.
4. Install system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels following industry standards.
5. Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
6. Manage switch configurations, participate in server and workstation configurations, and troubleshoot programmable components.
7. Ensure quality control through inspections and documentation.
8. Install and maintain field devices, troubleshoot issues, lead commissioning efforts, and communicate effectively with project teams and clients.
9. Mentor team members, provide feedback, and demonstrate leadership and collaboration.
10. Support project planning, resource allocation, and adapt to changing responsibilities.

Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Requirement: Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.

Education:

• HS diploma or GED, military electronics training, graduation from an accredited electronics technician or electrical apprenticeship program, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs.
• Strong communication, teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Certifications and Experience:

• Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV, and related systems.
• Three years of focused experience in electronic security systems.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
