Job summary

Innovative Aerosystems seeks an Electronics Test Technician in Exton, PA to calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and electronic equipment. Diagnose at the component level and support acceptance testing to FAA Part 145 standards.

Ideal candidates have strong electronics troubleshooting, analog/digital circuitry knowledge, and collaborate with Engineering to validate test procedures, using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and related tools. Second shift with 10% differential offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience testing, troubleshooting, or maintaining electronic equipment.
• Strong component-level troubleshooting skills for analog and digital circuits.
• Experience troubleshooting video and Ethernet circuitry, including flat panel display systems.
• Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering techniques.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, frequency counters).
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass a vision examination.

Innovative Aerosystems is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to perform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic equipment. Working independently with limited supervision, this role is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer-owned equipment to the component level, supporting acceptance testing activities, and ensuring compliance with FAA Part 145 repair station requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong electronics troubleshooting experience, a detailed understanding of analog and digital circuitry, and the ability to work directly with Engineering to resolve technical issues and validate test procedures.

Innovative Aerosystems offers competitive starting pay, plus a 10% shift differential for employees working 2nd shift.

• Proficiency with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, frequency counters, and similar instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to successfully pass a vision examination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the aircraft avionics industry.
• IPC-A-610 Certification.
• RF troubleshooting and testing experienc
