Electronics Technician – Aero Instruments & Avionics, Inc. – Depew, NY.

Aero Instruments & Avionics is a leader in the commercial aviation repair market. We are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and perform the service work required for maintenance of a variety of avionics components.
• Utilize various types of specialized test equipment to diagnose issues with aircraft components.
• Interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and instructions to properly perform duties.
• Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools or soldering irons.
• Document and report repair work using company software.
• Interact with engineering and quality personnel as required.

Required Qualifications / Skills

• A.A.S. in Electronics or equivalent formal training.
• Electronic/mechanical disassembly and reassembly experience.
• Soldering experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and outstanding integrity.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• High-precision soldering experience.
• ESD & IPC certification.

Additional Information

• Background check is required.
• Must pass a drug test in accordance with FAA drug testing program requirements.
• Schedule is 40 hours Monday - Friday 1st or 2nd shift.
• Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour DOE.

• This position is located in Depew, NY. Relocation assistance is not available.
