Electronics Technician – Aero Instruments & Avionics, Inc. – Depew, NY.
Aero Instruments & Avionics is a leader in the commercial aviation repair market. We are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform the service work required for maintenance of a variety of avionics components.
- Utilize various types of specialized test equipment to diagnose issues with aircraft components.
- Interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and instructions to properly perform duties.
- Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools or soldering irons.
- Document and report repair work using company software.
- Interact with engineering and quality personnel as required.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- A.A.S. in Electronics or equivalent formal training.
- Electronic/mechanical disassembly and reassembly experience.
- Soldering experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and outstanding integrity.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- High-precision soldering experience.
- ESD & IPC certification.
Additional Information
- Background check is required.
- Must pass a drug test in accordance with FAA drug testing program requirements.
- Schedule is 40 hours Monday - Friday 1st or 2nd shift.
- Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour DOE.

- This position is located in Depew, NY. Relocation assistance is not available.
