We are seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of SES, you will design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities
  1. Execute technical tasks within field operations, including on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure system functionality and reliability.
  2. Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to customers.
  3. Adhere to project safety plans and company policies.
  4. Analyze and interpret project drawings for constructability and accuracy.
  5. Verify charges in timesheets and execute installation and maintenance activities within planned durations.
  6. Track and inventory tools, conduct inspections, and perform end-of-day tool inventory.
  7. Participate in daily ORM safety meetings and build-out activities, including testing to verify quality.
  8. Install system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and mounting hardware, ensuring proper grounding and NEC standards compliance.
  9. Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, and network and IT equipment.
  10. Coordinate with project teams, demonstrate professionalism, and provide constructive feedback.
  11. Survey and document existing field conditions, providing feedback and recommendations.
Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type: Active Top Secret clearance required, with eligibility for access to classified information.

Education: HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 hours).

Experience:

  • 4+ years in electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems and client programs.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems, and related technologies.
  • Graduation from an electronics technician or electrical apprenticeship program.
  • 3+ years focused in electronic security systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
