Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 to support production and repair of electronic equipment and EW systems in Warner Robins, GA. The role involves repair, assembly, modification, and maintenance of complex assemblies, working to diagrams and specifications.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of repair capability, ability to read drawings and wire diagrams, and IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification. On-site hours are 9/80, with SCA benefits and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Reading production specifications, diagrams, and technical specs in English.
• Ability to read drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Soldering and cable assembly experience required.
• IPC J-STD-001 solder certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Repair, assemble, modify, and maintain electronic equipment and EW systems.
• Work from diagrams and layouts; perform tests under simulated conditions.
• Disassemble, rework, and reassemble assemblies and subassemblies as needed.
• Support production and repair department to keep mission-critical systems running.
