We are seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. You will be part of a team designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities
  • Perform technical tasks in field operations, including on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Ensure the functionality and reliability of various technologies through site surveys, hardware/software configuration, testing, and technical support.
  • Adhere to safety plans and policies, analyze and interpret project drawings, verify charges, and manage tools and inventory.
  • Participate in daily ORM meetings, execute PITCO plans, install systems and components, and ensure proper grounding and standards compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and clients, provide feedback, and document field conditions.
  • Travel up to 75% as required.
Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants must meet security investigation requirements.

Education: HS diploma or GED, military electronics training, or equivalent.

  • 4+ years of electronics installation/maintenance experience on multiple systems.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV, and related systems.
  • Graduation from electronics or electrical apprenticeship programs.
  • 3+ years focused on electronic security systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite is a plus.
