We are seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit. You will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electronic security systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
  • Lead small to moderately complex service projects.
  • Conduct and document daily toolbox talks.
  • Install head end equipment locally and globally per design packages.
  • Program head end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate system and hardware issues locally and globally.
  • Provide on-site software commissioning and testing, including inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and eligible for a government security investigation. ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance required; must be willing to undergo a polygraph.

Education:

  • HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 hours), or
  • Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program.
  • At least three (3) years of electronics installation and maintenance experience.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Experience:

  • 4+ years in electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs.
  • At least 3 years focused on electronic security systems.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing time effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a plus.

Preferred Certifications: Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Bosch, etc.) and experience in their installation.

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds regularly, following safety protocols.
  • Ability to relocate a 12-foot stepladder independently.
