We are seeking an Electronics Technician 1 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of (SES), you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities
  1. Execute various technical tasks within field operations, including on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
  2. Ensure the functionality and reliability of various technologies, including conducting site surveys, configuring hardware/software, testing systems, and providing technical support.
  3. Utilize and understand project safety plans, enforce adherence to policies, analyze and interpret drawing packages, and maintain tools and equipment.
  4. Participate in safety and project meetings, and execute plans to verify quality.
  5. Install system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and mounting hardware, ensuring proper grounding and compliance with NEC standards.
  6. Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
  7. Communicate effectively with project teams and clients, collaborate with team members, and document work progress using relevant tools.
  8. Mentor junior team members and maintain quality standards for all installation and testing tasks.
  9. Preferred experience with Lenel 7.8 systems.
Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type: U.S. Citizenship required; active Secret Clearance is mandatory.

Education: HS diploma or GED; military electronics training (minimum 720 hours).

Experience: 2+ years in electronics installation/maintenance; valid driver's license with acceptable record; strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems; graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program; additional 3 years of relevant experience; proficiency in MS Office; good time management and teamwork skills.
