Job summary

Digital Ally Career Center is seeking an electronics technician to perform tests on line fail products and repair customer returned units. 0 to 3 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities include building circuits to specification, troubleshooting, calibration, reading schematics, and SMT soldering. Strong teamwork and adherence to ESD protocols are essential.

Qualifications

  • 0 to 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to read schematics and logic diagrams.
  • Familiar with ESD protocols.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to assemble to specification and test equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Build circuits to specification.
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and analyze circuits.
  • Repair and replace complex electronics at board level, including SMT soldering.
  • Read schematics, wiring diagrams, truth tables, and flow charts.
  • Set up test equipment and work efficiently in a team.
  • Maintain organization and adapt to changes in process.

Summary:

Performs tests on line fail products and repairs customer returned units. Requires 0 to 3 years of experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Building circuits to specification.
  • Solid understanding of electronic theory and application; including troubleshooting techniques,calibration, test procedures, circuit analysis, and use of electronic equipment.
  • Knowledge of computers and operating systems, functional understanding of workbooks anddatabases and proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Firm grasp of ESD protocols.
  • Repair and/or replacement of complex electronic equipment at board or component level (includes surface mount soldering/de-soldering).
  • Ability to build or assemble to specification; to read and understand schematics, logic charts, truth tables, flow charts, wiring diagrams.
  • Set up test equipment, organize work in an efficient manner, complete task in a timely manner, adapt to change in process, and work well in a team environment.
