Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking an Electronics Technician to join our Redmond, WA team for a long-term, on-site role. You will assemble, test, and debug compact electro-mechanical systems, develop build and debug procedures for prototypes, and operate automated test equipment to drive high-quality results.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain lab equipment and vendor relations, and ensure safety and accuracy in every step.

Qualifications

• Soldering/reflow expertise.
• Understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings.
• Comfortable selecting, operating, maintaining benchtop electrical test equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability and interest to solve problems outside of your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Assembly, test, debug and rework of compact electro-mechanical systems including fine-pitched soldering, small scale paste/reflow; custom cables and adapters; sub-cm
• Experience using and maintaining electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, spectrum analyzers and standard-specific compliance testers
• Develop and maintain build & debug procedures for prototypes
• Operation and debug of automated component test and data collection systems
• Engage and manage fabrication vendors to deliver components, PCB/PCBAs, metal/plastic parts for prototypes
• Manage lab space, equipment, supplies, inventory

Responsibilities

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range $40/hr - $45/hr.
